01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

In Kyobashi, where standing bars line the streets, Masamuneya is an izakaya where you can sit down for food and drinks. Diners have enjoyed the pork trotters in different ways: some liked the salted version, while others relished them boiled. For a small plate to accompany a drink, or another dish to share, there is also kakiage made with sakura shrimp.

Alongside Japanese izakaya fare, the restaurant has Thai dishes too. Green curry and a glass noodle dish mentioned by diners offer an alternative when you fancy something beyond the usual bar snacks. The menu also lists gai yang, Thai-style grilled chicken, giving you a range of options to enjoy with Japanese dishes.

Come for a drink and a few small plates, or drop in for a meal centred on Thai food.
